WEDDING CONTRACT

Services Provided:

  1. Photography coverage of the event. The Photographer will be on location for the Wedding at the specified Start Time until the Expected End Time. Photography services outside of these hours are subject to additional charges.

  2. A second photographer will be present to provide additional coverage of the wedding.  If a second photographer  is not needed, or cannot be secured in time, $200 will be deducted from the total package cost.

  3. An average of 300 color corrected images from event will be provided via online gallery, and DVD.

  4. The Clients will retain full usage rights of all images provided.  They may make unlimited prints/share in any manner they see fit.

House Rules: Note that photographers are sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example, some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others will insist that the Photographer shoots from a specific location. In such circumstances, the Clients agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used.  Any special requirements in this regard must be submitted in writing to the Photographer prior to the event.

Release: The Clients retain full usage rights to photography in connection with the Wedding occurring on the date specified above. By signing this Agreement, the Clients also grant the Photographer the irrevocable and unlimited consent to photograph any persons, including guests, in attendance at the Wedding and at the locations specified. The Clients hereby release the Photographer from all liability and claims in connection with the images.  If individuals are present who do not wish to be photographed, this information must be submitted in writing to the Photographer prior to the event.

Limit of Liability: If the Photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the wedding services specified above, the Photographer will attempt to book a replacement wedding photographer. If a replacement photographer cannot be found, then liability is limited to a refund of any payments received. The Photographer has working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons beyond his control. In these circumstances, liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.

Booking Fee/Deposit: In the event the Clients cancel the Wedding for whatever reason, or otherwise dismiss the services of the Photographer, the booking fee becomes non-refundable. It will be considered as liquidated damages to the Photographer.

Final Payment: Final payment is due no later than one week following the Wedding.  Payment can be made in cash or check.  Check must be made payable to Greg Cahill and can be given in person or mailed to 213 Atlanta Ave Apt B Huntington Beach, CA 92648.  Any fees resulting from insufficient funds are the responsibility of the Clients, and must be settled prior to release of the final images.  Failure to make final payment will result in a suspension of the photos being released.

Production and Release of Images: The Clients can expect to receive the edited images in online format no later than four weeks following the event, and a DVD copy no later than five weeks.

Retention and Termination of Images: The Photographer will maintain the event images on digital file for a period of three months following the production date. The Clients may request links for the images at no additional charge, and additional copies in disc format may be requested at a flat rate of $5 per disc up until this date. Any additional requests for copies cannot be garunteed after the term date.
